HurricaneShow.com is being developed in April/May 2023 by Rodney Biddle of BiddleBooks.com as a virtual online resource for Hurricane Planning and presentations and reviews of products of interest to the homeowner market. As a writer Rodney has written multiple books on Emergency preparedness with Ham Radio communications and with Emergency Power planning. Today he is expanding his writing and developing an online resource to bring focus to planning and products which will benefit the homeowners and those in the areas prone to hurricanes in hopes of educating and helping the average resident in the event our readers are impacted by a Hurricane or similar disaster.
As a resource, this website and the contents within it are useful to readers before a storm hits. Planning is the key to successfully making it through a major event when the time comes with less stress and a better ability to recover.
We have found that many of the Home shows that are within the areas have only some vendors and information related to some topics that residents need. At most home shows you will easily find Solar power solutions as well as Storm shutters or Storm windows – But few have smaller power and portable power solutions, or emergency radio and emergency food solutions. We hope by bringing these topics and vendors to an online format we are able to reach a much greater audience with a much larger variety and number of topics and products.
Our launch goal for HurricaneShow.com is the end of May 2023 and prior to the 2023 hurricane season.
